Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP and Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena DOP take centre stage in the United States to promote the authenticity, quality and culture of Modena\u2019s balsamic vinegar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

From 28 to 30 June, Le Terre del Balsamico will be one of the protagonists of the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York<\/strong>, the most important North American event dedicated to speciality foods and high-quality products. In the Italian Pavilion, Level 3, stand 3221, the umbrella Consortium that brings together the Protection Consortium of Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP and the Protection Consortium of Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena DOP will bring Modena\u2019s balsamic excellence to the United States through promotional, information and protection activities aimed at trade professionals, buyers, journalists and international stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n

The United States has always been one of the most important markets for the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena sector and continues to show strong appreciation for certified Italian products. This is confirmed by the recent Consumer Survey by the Federvini Observatory, carried out in collaboration with Nomisma among 1,200 US consumers of wine, spirits and Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP. The study shows that, although the vast majority of buyers noticed the price increases linked to tariffs, fewer than 10% replaced Italian products. Moreover, faced with a possible 20% price rise, a significant share of consumers said they would not change their buying habits. Perceived quality remains the main driver of choice, cited by 42% of consumers in the case of Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP.<\/p>\n\n

Even in a complex scenario marked by trade tensions, American consumers continue to recognise and reward the authenticity, quality and cultural value of Italian products. That is why it is essential to take part in events such as the Summer Fancy Food Show, where we can tell first-hand the story, the land and the wealth of knowledge behind every drop of Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP and Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena DOP.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n

For the Protection Consortium of Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena DOP, the show will be an opportunity to learn more about one of the most representative excellences of Italian food. Visitors will be able to take part in tastings of the DOP product on its own, discovering its sensory characteristics, its aromatic complexity and its deep bond with Modena\u2019s historic vinegar cellars.<\/p>\n\n

The Protection Consortium of Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP, meanwhile, will be engaged in promotion, training and information activities aimed at strengthening knowledge of the certified product and combating the phenomenon of Italian Sounding. This includes the collaboration with Robert Campana, content creator and founder of the \u201cStop Italian Sounding\u201d project, who will help explain to American trade professionals and consumers the value of authenticity and the importance of recognising and choosing genuine Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP.<\/p>\n\n

Taking part in the Summer Fancy Food Show is also an important opportunity to showcase the uniqueness of Modena\u2019s balsamic tradition through the collaboration between the two Protection Consortia<\/strong>, united under the Le Terre del Balsamico brand to promote around the world a productive, cultural and identity heritage that is second to none.<\/p>\n\n
